What make a good news photograph?
As you’re thinking about taking news photographs, think about what makes up a good picture.
Most importantly, it will be of interest to a wide audience(观众). It may describe an event in the news: a train crash, a clash in the streets, crazily happy fans the moment the big game is won.
Uniqueness(独一无二) is eye-catching. A picture that no one else took has much more news value than one taken alongside a rank of other photographers. A good news picture will tell a story without words. It will have background by showing the surrounding scene, or show the emotion(情感)on the faces of the people in the picture.
Timeliness is of decisive importance. Whatever the content, a news picture can lose its value in a short space of time. News events move quickly, and the shot of a mini tornado you took last week may have been used for the front page when you took it, but of no interest to a newspaper or a website(网站)a week later.
Control is important. Please remember, absolutely no photo is worth bothering others, putting yourself or others in danger, or getting in trouble with the law.
We’re looking forward to seeing your pictures.

It was Christmas D ay 1999. On CNN, talk show host Larry King was interviewing Stephen Hawking .

Kanazawa says that some kinds of intelligence developed slowly over time. Many people have heard about what is called “emotional intelligence”. Now, psychologists(心理学家) have discovered recognize faces, and locate(确定位置)oneself in a new environment.
But, is there proof to support the theory that intelligence comes in many forms? “Actually, there is quite a lot of proof,” Kanazawa says “If there were only one type of intelligence”, he adds “Then people with high IQs should be ‘smart’ in every way.”
In one test, a psychologist took a group of subjects on a hike, walking into the forest. He then told them to find their way back. The high IQ people were no more likely to be able to find out where they were. "How come the boys always get to go somewhere but we have to stay here?" Toby, my cousin, complained. Soon we had an idea of finding a hidden treasure, but we had to find out how to make this happen. We went upstairs to my parents' bedroom which was always tidy and smelled like my mother's perfume. Opening the silver lid of the glass jar, we looked nervously inside and removed my mother's pretty pearl ring and diamond ring. Mom only wore them when she got dressed up to go somewhere, so Toby believed she wouldn't miss them. We wrapped them up tightly in toilet paper and quickly ran out into the big field where we often pretended tO ride wild horses.
We brought along a big kitchen spoon to dig a hole and buried the rings. "Don't tell anyone." Toby made me promise. For some unknown reason we forgot to go back later.
It was almost a week before my mother realized her rings were missing and she was driven mad. The look on my face must have been a dead give-away and it wasn't long before I told the whole story about my adventure with Toby. Only then did I realize the

Somehow they were prevented from making this ste p in their life, but nowadays there are many women that want to pass their driving tests at an early age.
However, we have to admit that men are more skillful drivers than women, but this does not mean that a woman cannot become a good driver by accumulating (积累) experience. So more and more teenagers and women around the age of thirty now want to pass their driving tests. While takin
